Lindsay is kidnapped by two teen aged boys who read in a tabloid that her father was holding her hostage but really she was staying in her house because she could hear what other people where saying about her anywhere.
Lindsay's "kidnappers" call Roz because they think she'll know what to do so Roz said it was a misunderstanding and she drove her home and wanted to speak to Lindsay's dad but Lindsay wouldn't let Roz.
Roz calls the college Linsay's dad used to work at and asked the receptionist if she could get Lindsay's dad's number, but then Roz finds out that Lindsay's dad has been dead for 2 weeks from a heart attack.
